TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4) (20mg)

For Research Use Only •

Original price was: $95.00.Current price is: $52.00.

TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4) is a 43 amino acid peptide sequence. In animal models, Thymosin Beta-4 has been shown to improve blood vessel growth, regulate wound healing, decrease inflammation, and reduce oxidative damage in the heart and central nervous system. Thymosin-beta-4 has a role in protection, tissue repair, regeneration and remodeling of injured or damaged tissues. It is also of active interest in anti-aging research.

  • Clear, colorless injectable liquid
  • Packaged in USP-grade, sealed glass vial for multi-use application

Thymosin Beta-4 (TB-500) is a synthetic peptide analog of a naturally occurring protein found in nearly all human and animal cells. It plays a vital role in cell migration, angiogenesis, inflammation modulation, and tissue regeneration.

TB-500 has been studied for its regenerative potential in soft tissue injuries, post-surgical recovery, inflammation reduction, and cardiovascular repair. It mimics a portion of the larger thymosin beta-4 molecule, specifically the active sequence responsible for its wound healing and cytoprotective effects.

Its ability to promote actin polymerization, increase blood vessel formation, and reduce fibrosis makes it an attractive option in physical rehabilitation, joint health, and overall recovery optimization.

TB-500’s primary function lies in its regulation of actin, a vital component of cellular structure and mobility. By increasing the availability of G-actin, TB-500 accelerates cell migration, crucial for tissue repair and wound healing.

Additional mechanisms include:

  • Angiogenesis promotion through upregulation of VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor)
  • Anti-inflammatory activity via downregulation of NF-kB and other cytokines
  • Collagen remodeling and support of extracellular matrix stability
  • Enhanced keratinocyte and endothelial cell migration, aiding both soft tissue and epithelial recovery
  • TB-500 also exhibits protective effects on the heart, cornea, tendons, and nervous system, making it a broad-spectrum regenerative peptide.

TB-500 is generally well tolerated. Adverse effects are rare and typically mild.

Reported or potential side effects include:
  • Injection site redness, itching, or minor irritation
  • Temporary fatigue or flu-like symptoms
  • Mild dizziness or lightheadedness (in rare cases)

No long-term adverse effects or toxicity have been identified in preclinical or clinical data at standard dosages.

Documented and Potential Benefits:
  • Faster recovery from muscle, tendon, and ligament injuries
  • Improved flexibility, mobility, and joint repair
  • Enhanced angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation)
  • Reduction in inflammation and fibrosis
  • Support for cardiac tissue and wound healing
  • Potential neuroprotective properties in nerve injury models
⚠️ Possible Side Effects:
  • Mild injection site irritation
  • Transient fatigue
  • Rare reports of headache or dizziness
  • No significant systemic or hormonal side effects at studied doses
  • Known allergy to peptide-based formulations
  • Do not use in individuals with a history of cancer without clinical supervision, as angiogenesis-promoting agents may influence tumor environments
  • Use caution in individuals on blood thinners or with clotting disorders
  • Not recommended for use in active infections unless directed by a healthcare provider

TB-500 has no documented drug-drug interactions. It may be safely used alongside:

  • Growth hormone or GHRP/GHRH analogs
  • BPC-157 and other healing peptides
  • Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
  • Regenerative therapies such as PRP, stem cell therapy, or physical rehabilitation

No known interactions with cardiovascular, metabolic, or CNS medications have been reported.

There is currently no safety data available regarding the use of TB-500 in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Animal studies have not established teratogenicity, but due to a lack of definitive data, use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.

TB-500 has not been studied in pediatric populations. Due to its effect on cellular growth, tissue regeneration, and angiogenesis, it is not recommended for use in children unless prescribed by a qualified specialist under closely monitored conditions.

Thymosin Beta-4 (TB-500) is not approved by the FDA for any specific medical indication. It is currently available for research and compounding pharmacy use, based on its extensive preclinical study in tissue regeneration, cardiovascular healing, and post-injury recovery.
